Producer/Manager/Connecter

James Womack II formed Strictly Entertainment, LLC, in 2000, which began as an artist management and development company and has evolved into a complete multi-management, special events production.

His career began in the field of science as a forensic medicine technologist for the state of New Jersey. His entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to connecting with Lauryn Hill, the Grammy award winning hip-hop recording artist and lead singer of the Fugees. It was Lauryn Hill who convinced him to go into the music industry and start a management company. In 1999, he met and was mentored by Vincent Herbert who managed successful acts such as Lady Gaga and Tamar Braxton. After which, James began working with music moguls Kenny “Babyface” Edmunds and Andre Harrell of NU America. Upon his arrival to Los Angeles, he officially signed recording artists Carly Blair and teen pop sensation, JoJo to major deals.

James’ company also secures financing for films. Brotherly Love (2015), produced by Jamal Hill and Will Smith is a film he is most noted for. He is Vice President of the new basketball league Global Mixed Gender Basketball where he was instrumental in bringing Tameka “Tiny” Harris on as the first female to purchase a team. James is currently producing several products in development, First BIG Check, hosted by NBA veteran, Derek Anderson and two more that have been greenlit.
